Emily | Mkinney bridal photographer

Hello lovelies! I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am for this post... I have waited a month (a long hard month, ;-) to show you all some beautiful bridals I shot of an old high school friend. For this session we actually had an amazing opportunity to shoot at a super cool design firm called Mgroup Studio. Oh goodness, I was one happy photographer! The lighting was so yummy!

Emily you are so GORGEOUS!

Emily, I had so much fun taking these beautiful photos of you. I would do it again in a heartbeat! You are such a sweetheart, and I look forward to seeing all of the new possibilities God will line up for you and Blake.

Love you girl!

A + R | Christmas

I absolutely LOVE the Christmas season! It's my favorite holiday; I love the atmosphere, and the delicious smells, and spending time with those you love. What I love even more... is photographing cute couples wrapped up lights. ;-) This is my best friend, and you all have seen her beautiful face a thousand times before, like here and also here, but I just adore her and taking pictures of her and those BLUE eyes!

Ryan, you are such a gentleman! So happy for the both of you. :-)

Um, can anyone say GORGEOUS?... I mean, seriously.

This just so happened to be my first ever, couples themed Christmas session and I could not have been more pleased with how they turned out! I had been wanting to use lights as a prop for a long time now, and I'm so happy I finally did. And as an added bonus, I have a cute couple to work with. ;-)

I wish you both many blessings, and tons of happiness! And to all my readers, and followers, I wish you an early, Merry Christmas! I hope your days are filled with love and family, and friends.

This won't be my last post of 2012, so expect another this weekend with some beautiful bridals I have been waiting, and waiting to share!

Rachel | Keller portrait photographer

I present to you my beautiful co-worker and friend, Rachel! You might recognize her from this session. ;)
She bought some super cute new clothes recently, and we decided we were due for another shoot!

I got a new camera not too long ago (the new total now adds up to six!) and it's a beautiful Minolta 35mm. Why not have some fun with it during our mini-session?!

Anna | Keller portrait photographer

My gorgeous best friend, Anna and I got together to take some super pretty pictures! Like, let me just say... HER EYES ARE SO BLUE. I can't get over it! Ha-ha!

Mm, and this yummy light! It was an all around fantastic day for pictures.

M + T | Keller lifestyle photographer

Over the last year, as a growing professional photographer, I have experienced and learned a variety of things from shooting my first wedding to shooting my first official newborn session, to learning from a business stand point what all a budding photographers should do, and not to do to maintain and grow their business. Oh boy, I would never have expected, from a photographer's stand point, the challenge of photographing a three year old. ;-) Today's blog post features Tripp, and his new cousin Melanie (check out her newborn session here.)

One way I found to keep Tripp entertained and to achieve a fantastic photo opp experience was to have bubbles! This handsome three year old's mom had for him probably one of the coolest toys EVER, a bubble machine! Simple and easy, right? You bet! Bubbles, ten dollars. Happy toddler, priceless.

Sweet little Melanie! I honestly feel so thankful that from behind the lens I have been able to capture all of your big milestones in your life, so far. Part of the joy of photography in my life is to be able to capture special moments, and the little things that we often-time forget as we grow in life. So, to be able to say that I have watched her grow so far, and have captured her cuteness makes me really happy inside. :-)

Melanie's mother had the wonderful idea to do her pictures vintage style! I'm actually rather fond of all things vintage and not of the decades I've lived in, haha. So, to be able to get creative and do it up real nice with props and everything, was possibly one of the coolest aspects so far in my photography career. I LOVE creative freedom!

PS- Melanie totally reminds me of a little flapper. ;-)

Little Tripp looked so fly in his suit!

That's all for this cuteness, but expect to see more of them soon. :-)

Have a great weekend!

Rachel

About a week ago I got together with the beautiful Rachel for a small personal session. The two of us ventured out to these amazing stationed trains in Keller (which I am no stranger to, haha,) I also noticed that they had added a new one! And being a photographer my first reaction was, 'WE HAVE TO SHOOT THERE NOW.' Low and behold, it was rainy and somewhat cold the morning we planned our shoot, unfortunately, but oh boy... when I say I love my friends that will bear any weather for the sake of photography, I mean I LOVE them. :-) Rachel stood out and sat in the rain for a majority of the pictures, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. I was so stoked for them, and it turns out this small session has become one of my favorites. It's the little things you remember. :-)

With love,

J + S | Denton senior photographer

Last week I had a wonderful session with Jalisa and her family. I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting her and a party held by a mutual friend, and I couldn't be happier to have met her! She is the sweetest thing, and her family is great! This session features Jalisa's and her brother Sebastion's senior pictures, and also a little bit of family togetherness. :-) The location is the beautiful, photogenic Texas Women's University (Where Jalisa is graduating from, this May!), which you can view some of my past work there here and also here

Jalisa, you are rockin' that color! I LOVE it! :-)

Sebastion, you have a great smile!

Jalisa and Sebastion, congratulations! I'm so excited for you and the journey you are taking. Remember, have fun, stay focused, and enjoy every moment!
